Great warmer and idea, wipes fall apart. August 4, 2010 lrlt2000 (NC) I love this warmer and the idea of the soft, plush wipes for cleaning and cloth diapering. However, after washing and drying a mere one, two or three times, 50% of them are fraying and falling apart. When I rechecked the wash instructions, I noticed it did say "Do Not Tumble Dry." This is very impractical for an item you expect to use 12-24 of per day and wash several times a week. I don't intend on air-drying these every day, even if they would turn around that fast. I won't buy anymore and am replacing these with regular cotton washcloths, unfortunately.
Wonderful Product And Baby LOVES! July 25, 2010 Kristen Suzanne (Scottsdale, AZ) I am so glad I bought this. My baby loves having the nice warm moist wipes for her girly bits. It's super easy to use and we've had no problems with it at all. I think I might buy another one to keep upstairs.
A Must-Have for the Cloth Diapering Family! July 24, 2010 Jen If you are going to use cloth wipes then this is the product to put them in. They warm up super fast and stay fresh for up to a few weeks. By adding some inexpensive baby washcloths to your own custom solution this wipe warmer will save you tons of money and keep baby's bottom and top clean! Warm cloth wipes will clean up any mess in an instant. You can use regular wipes in this just as well but the cloth wipes work even better in this warmer! I also love the little night light!
love and hate June 30, 2010 K. Grainger (Seattle, Wa) I have both intense love and intense hate for this wipes warmer. Cloth wipes are fantastic, and I would highly recommend to anyone, and especially to cloth diaperers. The warmer seems like a ridiculous splurge, but it is fantastic. With wipes solution, diaper wipes are like warm lavendar scented spa towels, and they clean up messes far better than disposables, all chemical free. No diaper rash, ever. I hate this warmer. It cracked on the bottom within the first month (ruining my dresser) and leaks when the duct tape patch I fashioned for it wears out every month or so. The wipes provided with it have all unraveled at the edges. (buy flannel ones from another supplier- I use green mountain) Six months in, the light stopped working, and the plug is so heavy it falls out of the wall unless I shove something heavy against it. However being that I am addicted to the wipes, and am reluctant to purchase another warmer only to have it fall apart, I still use this piece of junk. Maybe I'll find another at a yard sale this summer...
Excellent product, just keep it clean June 21, 2010 Jennifer (ACWORTH, Gabon) Baby girl is three months old now and we use this wipes warmer daily. The cloth wipes that came with it are ok, but I prefer the fleece clothes I bought on Etsy. Warm and wet is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and mold so it is important that you keep the unit clean. I fill the unit with dry clothes and add about 3 cups of warm water with a tablespoon and baby wash and a couple of drops of tea tree oil (natural antibacterial). I use all of the wipes and then wipe down the unit and start fresh. When I first started using it I would just keeping adding wipes and water daily and that's when I would get the funk. You don't want the same water hanging out in this thing for a week. If you can keep up with that you'll be very happy with the wipe warmer. There's nothing better at cleaning up ooky poop butt than a nice warm wet cloth. I also use the clothes to wipe my daughter's face after feedings. She loves it.
