This product is a pain in the behind. The removable sponge at the bottom has to be kept moist or it will dry out and all of the baby wipes will dry out. Then it will grow MOLD! Buy the "Munchkin Warm Glow Wipe Warmer" because you can keep it plugged in for years and don't have to worry about keeping anything moist, no mold just put the wipes in and you're done. I had a need to buy 2 warmers for 2 locations. I've had the Munchkin Warmer for over a year and have never had to do anything with it except keep it stocked with warmers. It's always plugged in, the wipes are always moist and warm. The Ultimate Wipes Warmer with Ever Fresh was a recent purchase (2 months ago) and already it's gotten moldy and once the sponge dried out it became brittle and all of the wipes needed to be thrown away.

I like this unit better than my Munchkin one because it will hold plain water and allow you to use your own washcloths. (munchkin has seams and leaks water) Warm cloths seem fine for my newborn (as the hospital suggested upon leaving, don't use store brand wipes for a few weeks/months). This unit is a solid "tub" and you can warm as much water as you like. It will work great for wipes as well !
